I had about half a package of corn tortillas left over from my last recipe. I decided I would continue the Mexican theme and this time make similar yet less spicy chicken tacos. This recipe is tasty and really easy to make. It takes about 3 hours and has about four ingredients. Enjoy!

Chicken Tacos

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 3 hours

Total Time: 3 hours, 10 minutes

Serving Size: 5-6 people

Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

  • Chicken (5-6 Breasts)
  • Taco Seasoning (1/4 cup)
  • El Pato Jalapeño Salsa (7 3/4 oz can)
  • Yellow Onion (1 large, sliced)
  • Water (2 cups)
  • Corn Tortillas

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in crockpot and add water.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning on top of chicken.
  3. Pour the El Pato over the chicken.
  4. Place onions on top.
  5. Do not stir, cook on high for 2.5 hours.
  6. Remove Chicken, shred with forks, return to crockpot.
  7. Cook on low for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve on corn tortillas.

  • Place chicken in crockpot and add water.
